Look for Lost Library Books

Time to look for those lost library books! We are working to get our Tres Volcanes School Library books back on the shelves. If you have lost books, please look everywhere for them: under your bed, on your bookshelves, under furniture, and in your car. Let's start next year off with a clean slate.

Interesting Library Facts

All of our library books are only 5 years old! We have two libraries full of wonderful books. We also have over 2,000 eBooks and over 300 audiobooks. We like to say we have something for everyone!

TVCCS Library Mission

The mission of Tres Volcanes Community Collaborative School Library is to provide students with positive experiences of the library through relevant, exciting, and engaging literacy activities that include all the resources of the library. We will work to foster in our students a lifelong love of reading and learning, help them develop an ability to think critically and become informed and compassionate citizens, and encourage them to become skilled users of ideas and information.

Using our TVCCS Destiny Catalog

  1. Go to the APS Libraries section in your ClassLink account (log into my.aps.edu using your APS username and password).
  2. Click on the Library Catalog which takes you to our TVCCS Destiny Discover library catalog.
  3. You can search for the author, title, or subject you are looking for. We also have a large collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks for you to enjoy on your device.
  4. To access our eBooks, scroll down to the eBook section. If you would like to see our entire eBook collection, click "see all". If you would like to just briefly look at a book, click "open". If you would like to enjoy the book for a longer period of time, click "check out".
  5. If a book has a sideways 8 (infinity) multiple users (even a whole class) can check out the book at the same time.
  6. If you would like a digital audiobook, look for the audiobook section on the Destiny Discover page. Click "see all" so view the entire collection. You can "play" the book or click "check out" if you plan to listen to the book over a longer period of time.
  7. Please make sure to click "close book" or "return" the eBook when you are finished so other readers can use the book after you.

Library Scope and Sequence

Throughout the year, we cover many topics in library lessons, all with the goal of helping students gain a love of children's literature and assisting them to become skilled users of ideas and information.
