TVCCS Library Mission
The mission of Tres Volcanes Community Collaborative School Library is to provide students with positive experiences of the library through relevant, exciting, and engaging literacy activities that include all the resources of the library. We will work to foster in our students a lifelong love of reading and learning, help them develop an ability to think critically and become informed and compassionate citizens, and encourage them to become skilled users of ideas and information.
Using our TVCCS Destiny Catalog
- Go to the APS Libraries section in your ClassLink account (log into my.aps.edu using your APS username and password).
- Click on the Library Catalog which takes you to our TVCCS Destiny Discover library catalog.
- You can search for the author, title, or subject you are looking for. We also have a large collection of eBooks and digital audiobooks for you to enjoy on your device.
- To access our eBooks, scroll down to the eBook or audiobook section and choose your selection.

Throughout the year, we cover many topics in library lessons, all with the goal of helping students gain a love of children's literature and assisting them to become skilled users of ideas and information.

Land of Enchantment Book Award
Every year, we participate in New Mexico's Land of Enchantment Book Award reading and voting and students enjoy helping to choose the winners of New Mexico's children's state book award. There are many amazing books on the reading list. Click on the link below to find out more.

Tres Volcanes Librarians
Natasha Carty
Natasha Carty has a Master's degree in Library Science and was a children's librarian for over ten years in Connecticut and Maryland. After moving to New Mexico she became a teacher for ten years and taught first through fifth grade. She is a National Board Certified Teacher. She is thrilled to be one of two librarians at Tres Volcanes in our two beautiful libraries. She can be contacted at natasha.carty@aps.edu.
Camilla Hoehne
Camilla Hoehne has been a teacher for over 21 years. Before becoming a school librarian she taught first grade for 19 years, and taught math intervention for 1 year. She has a Master's degree in English Language Development. She has lived in New Mexico her whole life. Mrs. Hoehne is excited to work with Mrs. Carty to build a love of reading in our Tres Volcanes community!
